TANIA: A darkly comic British short about love, shame, and secrets.
When a secretive man finds out that he has just one month left to live, he must face his darkest fear. Not just death itself, but the possible discovery of his biggest and what would be his most embarrassing secret, his wife, the love of his life, Tania. Embarrassment, because Tania isn’t real; Tania is a mannequin, and no one else knows about her.
In 2023 our first feature film ‘LORE’ premiered at Fright Fest London and is being distributed by Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment in the UK and they are also doing world wide sales on it in 2024. The film has won multiple awards, including most recently Best Feature at the Crystal Palace International Film Festival, and Best Anthology and Best Feature at The Romford Horror Film Festival and Best Drama at the Royal Television Society Awards in Newcastle Upon Tyne
In 2022, Sea & Sky Pictures was selected as the North East production company to co-develop a slate of ideas for BBC Comedy, working alongside Hat Trick Productions as part of the BBC’s Regional Partnership Scheme. So far two projects have been commissioned: a BBC Comedy 30-minute script commission and a BBC Comedy Character Development. Two further projects are being prepared to pitch to BBC Comedy as part of the partnership.
The Wilds is a BFI Funded short film that was written and directed by Greig Johnson was and produced by Adam Bouabda. It is the official selection at 17 international film festival and has won best film at 3 of those festivals, as well as 12 other awards from best cinematography to best actor awards. The feature film version of The Wilds has been developed with the assistance of BFI and will be in production in 2027
